The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers face off on Saturday at Soldier Field and the Bears have released their inactive list for the game.
The Bears, who are 10-4 on the season, already knew they would be without wide receivers Luther Burden III and Rome Odunze for the crucial game, but what about their top running back?
According to the team’s inactive list, D’Andre Swift will indeed play Saturday night after being listed as doubtful due to a groin injury. Swift is just 65 yards away from reaching the 1,000-yard mark on the season, and he’s aiming to become the first Bears to reach that goal since David Montgomery in 2020.
Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who was also listed as questionable by the team, was activated from injured reserve on Saturday and will officially return to action, giving the Bears their top tackler back for the game.
Tight end Cole Kmet, who was questionable due to ankle and knee injuries, will play for the Bears on Saturday night.
Linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga is also out for the game, having missed practice all week with a hamstring injury.
Quarterback Case Keenum is inactive for the game as Tyson Bagent returns after missing last week’s game due to illness.
Linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II and defensive lineman Jonathan Ford round out the inactive players for the Bears.
On the Packers side, running back Josh Jacobs will be in the lineup after being hampered by leg injuries this week. Wide receiver Christian Watson, who suffered chest and shoulder injuries against the Denver Broncos and was questionable for the game, will also play for Green Bay.
Defensive lineman Lukas van Ness will also be back in the lineup for the Packers on Sunday.
Safety Evan Williams, defensive linemen Quinton Bohanna and Nazir Stackhouse, tight end Josh Whyle and offensive tackle Zach Tom are the scratch marks in Green Bay’s lineup.
Kickoff between the Bears and Packers is Saturday at 7:20 PM and the game will be broadcast on Fox.
