Newcastle United has given an official answer to idiotic comments from Bayern Munich supervisory councilor Karl-Heinz Rummennige.
The embarrassing comments from such a key figure in Bayern Munich, their former chairman and former player, are absolutely ridiculous.
Nieuwcastle United ‘idiots’ calling because they have paid £ 65 million (plus a potential £ 4.3 million in future add-ons) for Nick Woltemade, is a fairly extraordinary language for someone like Karl-Heinz rummenge to use another club and player.
The bitterness is transparent, a number of important figures from Bayern Munich who make clear how stripped they are, that their cheap bullying tactics have not paid off this summer.
Stuttgart refused to fold while Bayern Munich did a number of Lowball offers far below their appreciation.
Newcastle United then delved into and paid the £ 65 million that Stuttgart wanted for their star striker, Bayern Munich made three bids and the highest of that only £ 52 million for Nick Woltemade, who they wanted his Harry Kane’s long-term replacement.
During his pre-union Saint-Gilloise press conference, Eddie Howe gave an official NUFC reaction when he interviewed about the idiotic comments of Bayern Munich supervisory councilor Karl-Heinz Rummenigge about the transfer costs Newcastle United paid for Nick Woltemade-3055:
“It [Nick Woltemade transfer fee] Is not relevant.
“The market forces dictate transfer costs, not necessarily a club.
“We are very happy that we have Nick with us and I think he started very strongly, in what a difficult period has been for him. Because he has been put into action directly without training time with us.
“He did very well.
“We are very happy to have him with us and the transfer costs are absolutely not relevant.
“What he will be assessed on is how he performs in the team and what he gives the club in the future.
“I have seen that players themselves are weighed by the reimbursement, or the expectation, but he is very relaxed.
“He looks like he enjoys his football, enjoy being here, and in the end that’s the key.”
The Mag Report – September 29, 2025:
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge talked about Nick Woltemade Signing for Newcastle United and not Bayern Munich.
It was of course considered that the Serial Bundesliga winners would sign the young emerging striker this summer.
Nick Woltemade had made it clear that he wanted to sign for Bayern Munich as his favorite destination and that made other top clubs back, after he was interested in the young attacker who had just had a huge breakthrough season in Stuttgart. The striker scored 17 goals in the Bundesliga and in the German Cup despite only 22 starts in the two games, plus a number of sub -performances. That form that Nick Wolade saw in the summer his first senior caps for Germany.
Bayern Munich, however, tried to abuse their powerful position, that position was the fact that they were the desired destination of Woltemade and also their status as by far the most dominant club in Germany.
Instead of complying with the valuation of Stuttgart € 75 million (£ 65 million), Bayern Munich made a number of Lowball offerings that stuck Stuttgart because they and their star striker were tampered with by Bayern.
A third and what turned out to be the last offer by Bayern Munich of £ 52 million, rejected by Stuttgart. Eddie Howe and Newcastle United then grab this chance of surprise that they were given by Bayern who refused to satisfy the appreciation of a striker they desperately wanted to sign as a replacement for Harry Kane. United pays the required £ 65 million (plus to a possible £ 4.3 million in future add-ons if goals are touched).
Bayern Munich has been furious about their inability to compete in the summer transfer window as the financial strength of the Premier League, she has seen Florian Wirtz and Nick Woltemade miss.
This has manifested itself in a series of unprofessional missing comments and interviews from large figures from Bayern Munich, who, both inside and outside the club, especially with regard to Newcastle United who surpassed them for Wolade.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is a legend of Bayern Munich, a decade as a player there and was a key figure from the field in later times, an old chairman and currently a board member.
The former (West) Germany International Now the newest large Bayern Munich figure to embarrass themselves with these Cringeworthy comments focused on Nick Woltemade and in particular Newcastle United.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge Talk Bavaria Radio About Newcastle United Bridge Bayern Munich to sign Nick Woltemade:
“When this story with Nick Woltemade and when the demands came from Stuttgart, I came, as well as Uli Hoonheid, Herbert Haniner, Jan Dreesen and Max Eberl, said: boys, we reach figures that I no longer find acceptable.
“We should not meet every question to make someone happy, especially the financiers at Stuttgart.
“I can only congratulate the people in Stuttgart with finding … Let me use quotation marks here, ‘an idiot’ who has paid so much money, because we would certainly not have done that in Munich.
“We have to find a solution [to being able to compete with the financially all powerful Premier League].
“We can’t go further every year every year.
“Salaries and transfer costs have risen rapidly in recent years.
“We cannot continue to work seriously in this way.
“They now have billionaires in England.
“Or sometimes even states, those own clubs, such as Saudi -Arabia, Qatar …
“Then you have to play against them in the European Cup [Champions League] And keep up.
“In the meantime you are expected to win that competition”
