Rajasthan Royals (RR) young opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi showcased his aggressive batting during the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 match against Pakistan A in Doha on Sunday, November 16. The left-handed batsman exchanged constant banter with Pakistani bowler Ubaid Shah and the clip grabbed attention.
Vaibhav has already earned a reputation for his fearless attitude. Ball descend, ball descend – Vaibhav Suryavanshi
Vaibhav Suryavanshi came into the match full of confidence after hitting 144 off 42 balls against UAE. There was obvious tension between him and fast bowler Ubaid Shah, with both players left talking to each other in the middle.
Ubaid stared at him every time Suryavanshi missed a shot. However, Suryavanshi was not willing to retreat. In the third over, after failing to get an inside-out shot, he looked straight at the bowler and told him to concentrate on delivering the ball.
“Ball daal na, ball daal. (Bowl the ball, just bowl the ball),” Suryavanshi was heard saying over the stump microphone.
On the next delivery, Suryavanshi timed the ball well and hit it for a boundary. After the shot, he walked towards his opening partner, Priyansh Arya. Ubaid had nothing more to say and the young Indian batsman walked away with the upper hand.
