Phablo.ai, a B2B SaaS startup co-founded by Tharak Sreedharan from Kozhikode and Marc Gerlach from Germany, has secured $125,000 in a pre-seed funding round from Singapore-based global venture capital firm Antler.

The Singapore-based startup, with operations in India, Europe, the US and Africa, has built an AI-powered platform designed to automate and streamline the complex regulatory and compliance workflows for life sciences companies. The company aims to address the industry’s reliance on manual processes and non-standard documentation, which often leads to high costs and delays in bringing products to market, according to a press release.

The funding followed an intensive, selective process at Antler, which was approved by the founders within two months of building their initial product and demonstrated early traction.

“The capital will be spent on building our core product, hiring young teams in India and Europe, and forging strategic partnerships for global growth,” said Tharak Sreedharan.

Phablo.ai, which already has a technology and product team in India, is looking to expand in the EU and US, raise up to $1 million to close its pre-seed round and onboard the first 100 paying customers over the next two years.
