Ayush Mhatre appointed as captain of India for Australia Tour – here is the entire team!

The BCCI Junior Selection Committee has announced a 17-member team for the Indian tour by India by Australia. The young team plays three one -day matches and two four -day games against the hosts between September 21 and October 10.

Mhatre continues as a captain

Ayush Mhatre, who made an impression as a captain in the recent tour of England, will again lead the side. India had won the Youth Odi series 3-2 in England and signed both games in the youth test series.

Mhatre, known for its consistent performances and leadership, will try to lead the team to another strong outing abroad.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a young batter from Rajasthan Royals, has earned a place in the team after his brilliant run in the Cricket age group.

Other remarkable names are vice-captain Vihaan Malhotra, in-form Slagan Pushpak and Aditya Rawwat. Wicketkeeping -tasks are handled by Abhigyan Kundu and Harvansh Singh.

The tour starts with three youth modes in Norths from 21 to 26 September. It is followed by two four -day competitions, one in Norths and the other in Mackay, ending on October 10.
