Unlike IJzers, Fairway Woods needs a few different keys to perform a good strike. But there are also another mistake that players make when using Fairway Woods, says top instructor Heather Angell.
“I always tell people, don’t get your fairway wood, unless you are in the fairway with a really good lie,” said Angell on the top 100 -learning top of golf on Cabot Citrus Farms In Florida. “I have so many amateurs who come out and they are from:” Well, I can’t reach the green. “Everyone wants to try to kill it,” she continued. “More often than not, if you hit a fairway wood, you can’t reach the green with it. So why wave like you can? If you feel swing effortlessly, then you’ve made that smooth swing.”
