A new color option for the Aveta Vanguard 250 SE scooter in Malaysia, with the price remaining the same at RM16,388. Prices exclude road tax, insurance and registration and the new color option is Twilight Blue.
The new color is a metallic finish that shifts between purple, blue and green under sunlight. The previous Majestic Green and Titanium Gray color options for the Vanguard 250 SE remain available.
No other changes for the Vanguard 250 SE, with power coming from a SOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-valve engine with a displacement of 244.2 cc, fed by Bosch EFI. The Vanguard 250 SE gets 24.8 hp at 8,500 rpm with a maximum torque of 22.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm, which goes to the rear wheel via CVT transmission and belt drive.
The Vanguard 250 SE comes with a TFT-LCD screen with mirroring to the rider’s smartphone using the Aveta app. Also standard on the Vanguard SE are tire pressure monitoring and a front DVR recorder.
Tire size for the Vanguard SE is a 15-inch wheel up front and a 14-inch hoop out back, with 120/70 and 140/70 tires. The fuel for the Vanguard is carried in a 13 liter tank, while the weight is 177 kg and a ground clearance of 160 mm. The seat height is set at 780 mm and there is a 23.5 liter storage compartment under the seat.
