Avenue Supermarts Q3 Updates: Standalone sales rise 13% YoY to Rs 17,613 crore

DMart operator Avenue Supermarts reported a 13% year-on-year increase in its standalone operations revenue for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, at Rs 17,613 crore, compared to Rs 15,565 crore in the year-ago period.The number of stores of the retail chain promoted by Radhakishan Damani stood at 442 in the quarter under review.

The announcement came as part of Dmart’s Q3 updates and the revenue figure is preliminary and subject to change in the actual earnings announcement.Avenue Supermarts shares underperformed the market, rising around 4% over one year. According to Trendlyne data, the stock is currently trading below its 50-day and 200-day simple moving averages (SMAs) of Rs 3,968.6 and Rs 4,189.7 respectively.

The company reported a 4% growth in second quarter net profit at Rs 685 crore, compared to Rs 660 crore in the same period a year ago. The profit after tax (PAT) is attributable to the shareholders of the parent company. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 16,676 crore, up 15% from Rs 14,444 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.


Profit after tax (PAT) declined 11% on a sequential basis from Rs 773 crore reported in Q1FY26.

Revenue rose 2% quarter-on-quarter compared to Rs 16,360 crore in the April-June quarter of FY26. On a standalone basis, DMart’s total revenues stood at Rs 16,219 crore, witnessing a YoY growth of 15.4%. Net profit grew 5% year-on-year to Rs 747 crore in the quarter under review.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in Q2FY26 was reported at Rs 1,230 crore, which was up 11.3% year-on-year.

The company added eight new stores in the second quarter of 26.
