Avanti Feeds, APEX Frozen, other shrimp stocks zoom up to 17% on European Good News

Shares of seafood -exporters such as Avanti Feeds, Apex Frozen Foods and Waterbase LTD Zoomden up to 17% on Wednesday 10 September after the European Union (EU) had mentioned 102 new Indian fishing companies for export from India to EU member states.

Apex Frozen Foods shares led the rally in aquaculture shares and rose 16.7% to reach a day of a day of RS 255.45. The shares of Waterbase LTD followed with a sharp profit of 12.5%, with a highlight of RS 55. In the meantime, Avanti food shares also participated in the upward trend, and 10.13% rose to scale a highlight of RS 726.

India expects a sharp boost in the export of seafood after obtaining broader market access for aquaculture shrimp and cefalopods such as squid, squid and octopus, explained the official confirmation of the government.

The trading volumes of the Ministry of Trade can immediately rise by around 20% and the relocation calls a positive step, because New Delhi strives for larger trade conversations with the EU.

Marine Export has had to deal with pressure since US President Donald Trump imposed steep rates on Indian goods. The US remains the largest copper, followed by the European Union, China and Japan. Exportors such as Avanti Feeds earn almost 18% of their EU income, while Apex distracts more than 30%. Others, including Coastal Corp and IFB Agro, also have exposure to the region.

Another factor that could play in today’s session is the recent message from Donald Trump about Truth Social. He said that the two countries are constant negotiations to tackle trade barriers and it is convinced that there will be no problems to achieve a successful conclusion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also repeated the same optimism on X (formerly Twitter) and said: ‘I am convinced that our trade negotiations will pave the way to unlock the unlimited potential of India-US partnership.Also read: Will the share of Infosys’ share purchase encourage investor confidence?

The Avanti Feeds stock price has fallen by 20% in the last six months. The share price of Apex Frozen Foods has fallen more than 15% on an annual basis. Waterbase shares have fallen by more than 35% since the beginning of the year.
