Auto -dealers witness the “extraordinary” increase in customers’ interest

Auto dealers have witnessed unprecedented walk-ins, a peak in questions and registration deliveries in most segments in the first two days of GST 2.0 and Navratri.

Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL), Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) and Tata Motors sustained their festive momentum on Tuesday with rising questions and bookings. For JSW MG Motor India, the first two days of Navratri saw nearly 90 percent recording compared to the recent years.

“We believe that these changes will stimulate the question and encourage customers to buy during this phase, and we are not only bullish, not only for the festive season, but also for the rest of the year,” said Vinay Raina, Chief Commercial Officer at JSW MG Motor India.

Two -wheeler tree

In the two -wheeler segment, market leader Hero Motocorp said that the questions from customers have grown exponentially. There is more than 50 percent jump in showroom traffic compared to last year.

Industrial organizations greeted the “extraordinary” response from the consumer.

“We hope that this festive momentum will take place, making this festive season one of the most memorable for both industry and consumers,” said Chandra, who is also the director, Tata Motors passenger Vehicles and Tata passenger Electric Mobility.

Record deliveries

On the first day, MSIL had delivered more than 30,000 vehicles and secured bookings for more than 75,000 cars, HMIL supplied more than 11,000 cars, while Tata Motors sold 10,000 units and received more than 25,000 questions.

“We have seen that many questions are taking place. Many customers come to our showrooms and they want to shop. We are Super Gung-Hoo about the growth. Many companies have already reported record-breaking sale on the first day of Navratri,” CS Vigneshwar, President, Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) already said line.
