For the 2025 Australian Open Golf, a total prize fund of $2 million AUD is available for the DP World Tour event.
The prestigious event returns to the Royal Melbourne Golf Club in 2025, returning to a men-only tournament. Last year, both the DP World Tour and the Australian LPGA were sanctioned.
The tournament dates back to 1904 and has been part of the ANZ Tour since 1973. In 2022, the Australian Open was part of the DP World Tour for the first time.
In 2024 the field played for $1.7 million AUD, but that figure rises to $2 million AUD for 2025, with an offer of $340,000 to the winner.
