Audi’s new sports car concept looks even better as an SUV

I love it or hate it, the recently unveiled Audi concept C offers a daring new direction for the iconic design language of the German car maker. Inspiration of the outgoing TT and classic concepts such as the Avus and Rosemeyer, refers the striking sports car in the future direction of the Styling of Audi.

Audi has already confirmed that a production sports car is being made based on the concept C. However, the design is expected to influence a complete line -up of vehicles – including sedans, cars and of course SUVs.

With that in mind, the rendering of artist Luca Serafini suggested what a concept-inspired SUV could look like. And to be honest, it is sharper than every Audi SUV that is currently in showrooms.

The design of Serafini fits the characteristic elements of the concept C-slender LED headlights, a tapered grid, flat surfaces and an enclosed C-Pilder-Op an SUV body. It also contains the unique 21-inch wheels of the coupe and the matte paint finish, which are surprisingly well translated into the larger size.

But the SUV is not the only vehicle that Serafini has been re-conceived with the help of the design language of the concept C. The digital artist also applies his distinctive styling to a semi-truck, a boat, a motorcycle and even a high-quality sports car that is reminiscent of the ActiveSVHERE concept a few years ago. All these creations can be seen in the embedded Instagram post above.

While the concept C received mixed reactions – especially online – does not deny that Audi’s daring new design elements are surprisingly good over a wide range of vehicle types. Yes, even the semi.

It is still unclear when the first production model will debut with this new design language, but it is expected to share a platform with the upcoming Porsche 718 EV, planned for release in 2026. If that timeline applies, the version of Audi could arrive in 2027, with extra models such as SUVs and Sedans follow them.
