Atlanta Braves News: Matt Olson Homers again, Jake Fraley to Il, More

Suddenly the Braves are an absolute Juggernaut when they play on Sunday. After some seasons of struggle with Sunday games, the Braves have now won 6 times in the last 7 games that ended on a Sunday. It is a fun course in the earlier this season, because ending the weekend with a victory is always better than the alternative.

Speaking of success, Matt Olson has found exactly that when it comes to the puree of baseball again. Olson joined on Sunday with his 24th home run of the season and now produces a 172 WRC+. It has been a down year for both Olson and the Braves in the Power Department, so seeing that he is back to manage the baseball properly, is a good note to end the season. Moreover, with another home run he will continue the Braves streak to have at least one player with 25 home runs in a normally full season. Hopefully Olson will hit a few more for a good measure as he progresses closer to 300 career -homers (today was 284.)

Outfielder Jake Fraley was added to the injured list because of a sloping injury. ACE Relief Arm/Pinch Walking Savant Luke Williams was brought back to the Majors in a corresponding movement.

It was another historic home run For Cal Raleigh. He corresponded to the record of Mickey Mantle for most home runs (54) by a Switch-Hitter in a single season. He also established a new record for most home runs while playing the catcher position in a season (43), and outrofed former Braves Javy Lopez.

Jose Quintana will let his calf look through an MRI.

Trey Yesavage, one of the best right -handed prospects in baseball, Will make his MLB debut For the Blue Jays on Monday.
