Suddenly the Braves are an absolute Juggernaut when they play on Sunday. After some seasons of struggle with Sunday games, the Braves have now won 6 times in the last 7 games that ended on a Sunday. It is a fun course in the earlier this season, because ending the weekend with a victory is always better than the alternative.
Speaking of success, Matt Olson has found exactly that when it comes to the puree of baseball again. Olson joined on Sunday with his 24th home run of the season and now produces a 172 WRC+. It has been a down year for both Olson and the Braves in the Power Department, so seeing that he is back to manage the baseball properly, is a good note to end the season. Moreover, with another home run he will continue the Braves streak to have at least one player with 25 home runs in a normally full season. Hopefully Olson will hit a few more for a good measure as he progresses closer to 300 career -homers (today was 284.)
