India closed their Asia Cup 2025 group phase with a 21-run victory over Oman in Abu Dhabi on Friday. Sanju Samson’s fifty and a tough finish from the Bowlers helped to remain unbeaten India, even without Jasprit Bumrah in the attack.
Samson leads the percussion costs of India
India placed in Bat and placed 188 for 8. Abhishek Sharma gave the innings a flying start with 38 discount only 15 balls before he fell early. Samson then took control of number three and hit 56 of 45 balls with three four and three sixes.
In the last phases, Axar Patel’s 26 out of 13 and Tilak Varmas 29 out of 18 of 18 India gave the push they needed. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav made the headlines by sending himself to number 11 and not beating.

Oman’s brave fight falls short
The openers of Oman chase 189 and put pressure on India. Aamir Kaleem hit 64 out of 46 balls and added 93 points with Hammad Mirza, who made 51 out of 33.
