Pakistan achieved a 41-run victory against the United Arab Emirates in match 10 by Asia Cup 2025 in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the Do-Or-Die Encounter to book their berths in the Super Four from Group A to do this after India.
Junaid Siddique hit twice in his first two overs to get rid of Pakistan openers Saim Ayub (0 out of 2) and Sahaibzada Farhan (5 out of 12) for a composed half century from Fakhar Zaman (50 off 36) insured Pakistan from deep water. However, he was fired just after he reached the milestone. A middle order meltdown meant that the VAE was at the top.
Shaheen Shah Afridi was again the taste for the green shirts with the bat, just like how he played against India. His undefeated 14-ball 29 meant that Pakistan received a respectable total at the end of 20 overs. Siddique (4/18 in four overs) and Simranjeet Singh (3/26 in four overs) were the choice of the bowlers for the hosts.
Vae started their innings quite positively. Towards the end of their powerplay, however, they lost three wickets. Rahul Chopra and Dhruv Parashar stabilized the ship and made sure that the VAE did not lose any wickets in cluster.
The spin duo of Abrar Ahmed (2/13) and Ayub (1/18), however, kept things tight because both batters could not loosen and scored under the Run-A ball. Vae was eventually bundled for 105 in 17.4 overs with wickets who fell in hope while crumbling under pressure.

Just practice in the nets. Whatever I practice, try to perform the same thing. I look forward to the upcoming games. We lost early wickets and then also in the middle of it exaggerated. My job is to hit the ball. The team needed an early breakthrough and I try to offer that.

We have learned so many things and hope to apply it in the coming tournaments.

We did the job, but we had to hit better in the middle of the exaggerated. The bowlers did well. We have not yet beaten our best. If we hit well, we would have ended up with 170-180. Shaheen is a match winner. His batting has improved. Abrar has been excellent. He is someone who brings us back into games. We are ready for every challenge. If we play a good cricket, we can be good on every side.
