Sahibzada Farhan Played a fantastic knock in the Super-Four match between India and Pakistan in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday 21 September. But more than his innings, which is discussed and dissolved, is his controversial celebration after reaching his half century.
Farhan held his bat as a gun and pointed to the excavated and simulated as if he were firing it. This provocative gesture caused serious commotion on social media.
During the press conference for the collision between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Farhan commented on the celebration and said it was something he did at the moment. However, he showed no signs of repentance for his actions. Instead, he said that he focuses on playing aggressive cricket against whatever opposition he is.
“I think that if you talk about the Sixes, you will see that (much) in the future. And that (party) was a moment at that time. I don’t do many parties after scoring 50. But it suddenly came up with me that you have to do a celebration. You have to play aggressive cricket against every team,” Farhan said.
Farhan hit 58 out of 45 balls and hit five and three sixes. His knock made the road free for Pakistan to post a competitive 171-run in total in 20 overs. In answer, ABHISHEK Sharma and Shubman Gill added a 105-run stand in 10 overs to make things easier for the batters to follow.
Abhishek scored for India, while the men in blue chased the target in 18.5 overs to save six wickets. Shubman and Tilak Varma have contributed with knocks of 47 (28) and 30* (19) respectively. This was the second time that India defeated Pakistan in the current Asia cup.
