Former Delhi Capitals (DC) Allrounder Gulbadin Naib has plucked his all time in combined India-Afghanistan XI Prior to the Asia Cup 2025, planned to start on 9 September in the United Arab Emirates (VAE). NAIB excluded Star Indian players Rohit Sharma and Mrs. Dhoni from his all-time India-Afghanistan XI.
Gulbadin Naib made his international debut for Afghanistan In August 2011 he played 89 ODIs and 75 T20Is. The all -rounder scored 1,332 points in ODIs and 945 runs in T20Is. He also took 74 Wickets in ODIs and 33 in T20Is. NAIB is mentioned in the provisional team of Afghanistan for the Asia Cup.

Gulbadin Naib names Rashid Khan Captain from All Time India-Afghanistan XI
Gulbadin Naib considered Azmatullah Omarzai And Ravindra Jadeja for the last all-rounder place. He called Rashid Khan as captain of his all-time India-Afghanistan XI.
The 34-year-old Koos Mujeeb Ur Rahman as the primary spinner of the team, in addition to specialized Death-over Bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Naveen-Ul-Haq.
Jasprit Bumrah has taken 219 Wickets in 48 tests at an average below 20. He demanded 238 Wickets in Cricket with limited overs and was appointed player of the tournament in India’s 2024 T20 World Cup victory.
Mujeb Ur Rahman is in third place of the highest wicket-makers in Afghanistan with 165 resignation in 125 games, while Naveen-Uhq is in seventh place with 89 wickets in 63 games in different formats.
“Rashid Khan will lead my side. A player between Azmatullah Omarzai and Ravindra Jadeja as an all-rounder. Jasprit Bumrah, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and NAVEEN-OL-HAQ are other players part of my all time XI,” Naib added.
