Arthur Jones, former NFL player and brother of Jon Jones, is falling away

Arthur Jones, 39, a former NFL player and brother of former UFC Light heavyweight and heavyweight champion Jon Jones, has died.

The professional football defendant ending that played eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) was best known for his time at the Baltimore Ravens, where in 2013 he contributed to their Super Bowl XLVII victory on the San Francisco 49ers, with a bag and a messy recovery in the game.

The general manager of Ravens, Eric Decosta, described Jones as a “big, clear smile, infectious energy and eternal positivity” that everyone around him raised. Tribute from the NFL community emphasized his kindness, family devotion and role in the defense of the Ravens’ Championship.

Arthur was the eldest of three athletic brothers: Middle Brother Chandler Jones (four -time Pro Bowl Defensive End for the Patriots, Cardinals and Raiders) and the youngest Jon Jones (UFC).

Jones died on Friday 3 October. No cause of death has been released yet.
