The Gunners maintained their unbeaten record in the league on Tuesday evening with a 3-1 win at the San Siro, thanks to two goals from Gabriel Jesus and a late strike from Viktor Gyokeres.
“I am very proud of the team,” Arteta told Amazon Prime after the final whistle. “We said before the match that we needed a special performance and we certainly did that today. We have gone to another level and to do it at San Siro against one of the best teams in Europe is something else.”
“It was about being better than them. They manage and control the games in a very good way, and we knew we would have to do that on the pitch and with substitutions.”

Nwaneri was an unused substitute amid reports that Arsenal have agreed a deal with Marseille to loan the winger in the January transfer window.
Asked about the teenager’s possible move, Arteta replied: “I don’t know. We will have a discussion this week. He is not getting the minutes he needs and deserves at his age. We have to discuss how we want to take this forward.”
