Arsenal Slay the Newcastle Boogeyman

Arsenal Slay the Newcastle Boogeyman

Arsenal dropped, which can only be described as an amazing version with beautiful implications for our title in the momentum. The handbrake came off, we dominated and won despite some shameful but predictable Jarred Gillett opposite.

This kind of victory is what you really need to start a title push. We played a good side, in a bogey stadium, and won in a way that is deep in the mission.

The winner came in the 95th minute. A Martin Odegaard Corner was beaten in the front pole, Pope came fluttering, Gabriel arrived with the nearby mail bomb … Cue Pandemonium. Big Gabby had one of those crazy days that could have ended very badly. He flopped under a gentle Woltemade -challenging early in the game, the Big German scored his free header. That led to a crazy ten minutes where Big Gabby tried to avenge the bad guy and threw hands that might have put him in trouble for another day. He knew he was messing around and he was desperate to be part of the apology tour … and part of it, he was. Driving the game in the 95th minute and getting on a hero is what the game is all about … and my word he enjoyed that winner!

The game was not all winners and big emotions at the last minute. We received nostalgia last season when Gyokees won a penalty early after he had touched the ball for Pope and was wiped away. Gillett, a fan of Liverpool, called the penalty. Nobody really argued, especially not Nick Pope. But Darren England, also a fan of Liverpool, called him to the VAR Pod to inspect something that was not clear and clear in Slow Motion. After a while Gillett got the memo, he canceled the penalty based on the base. Pope received a touch.

To persevere? Wasn’t Robert Sanchez sent out last week for exactly the same? Yes, he was. Was Saliba not punished last season for the head butt on Pedro after the ball had first touched his head? Howard Webb did not go on TV with Michael Owen to say:

We can’t let this kind of nonsense fly. Saka was fine.

“I looked at it live and I looked at it on the screen and for me it is a fine. It is not a clear and obvious error, VAR should not intervene. It is clear that VAR does not have to intervene because it is a fine.”

“For me, if we have VAR, it is for clear and obvious errors and the fact that the referee lasted so long to decide, show that it is not a clear and obvious mistake,” he said. ‘[I was] Speechless, man. Things like this always go against us. ‘

Arsenal must insist on answers. Arteta should also make a big fuss about Jarred Gillett, who was all the game, even the time to tell Calafiori that he couldn’t use a towel to wipe the ball. How can someone who is a fan of Liverpool, to such a extent, he cannot reflect on his matches … 66% of our opening 6 games if we are their number 1 rival? Tell me a world where someone in any serious profession would accept an interest that is so contrary to the sporting integrity of the game? It is despicable and it adds a treacherous layer to an error that is probably simply standard PGMOL incompetence.

But … the only thing I cared for today was a victory. Call me a one -dimensional boring, but underlying statistics and what we earned, really don’t turn out this season. I don’t want any apologies. I want us to finish the opportunities, appear when heroes appear and do not allow the demons to molest our players while standing with their hands on their hips that accept the inevitable.

Nobody deserves anything in sport … and we have taken that attitude against the rest of the game.

We fought harder than Newcastle.
We have made more.
We have taken more risks.
We never stopped believing that we could create a moment of magic.

Nobody embodied that more than Gyokees. This striker is not my favorite. I am not sure what his super power is outside at the moment, he is not very fast, he is not particularly strong … But today he showed me that he is one of the most pursued players in the team. Gillett had Newcastle players kicked, gushes and scratch our Swedish striker in his meekness … and he just went on with it. There were major improvements in his link -up game, he found great spaces and even created moments for himself. That was probably his most complete version to date.

Odegaard was also essential for victory. How we said he changed the game. That’s not wrong. His class on the ball, smart steps and attacking mindset gave us a lead. He spent a world class in MLS who at least earned a shot at goal. Then he had his moment at the end, with the perfect cross for Big Gabriel to go home. It was a Helluva corner, given how little Martin has played lately … and a big memory of the haters, Martin is not ready.

We also cannot forget who has the ball rolling for the comeback … It was Mikel Merino. If he had been summoned and we had not won, Arteta would take all kinds of pelters because he suggests that Merino is actually a very good attacking option. But the sub was inspired. Declan Rice found him in the box with a nice diagonal cross that culminated in an excellent header past Nick Pope. Finishing the top class, purely striker behavior again from Merino.

Declan Rice deserves an incredible amount of credit together with wood. The two were the best at their best. They are absolute technicians, but they combine it with incredible physical versions that ensured that the super power of Newcastle, which is bullying, could not flourish. Especially wood just keeps blowing my damn spirit. He is Gabi Jesus forward, his speed, agility, ability with both feet … his mesmeric to look. He is the best right in the competition and it is not even close. What a player. All he has to do is add goals, and he was so close with that header from the back of a lush selection of passes that brought the ball to Newcastle’s goal. Nick Pope was outrageously good and really saved their blush.

Let us also not forget to include the manager in all this … He has unleashed the beast today. He took the handbrake off. He showed the doubters that he can deliver offensive football while retaining defensive firmness. The football was without a doubt exceptional. It was varied, nice to see and totally unpredictable. Arsenal has sauce again. The players who come from the bank are real impactors. We become a devastating force when all these players settle in the system. Just think about it … People have called time on Arteta, and after the most difficult Premier League start of each team we are 2nd, 2 points of the top and there are clear levels in our game.

That was a wonderful victory. The players showed that they have the Bang Bang -Magie and the desire to create heroic moments. We are hunters, we navigated PGMOL and their disgusting decisions without coming to ourselves. We beheaded the Newcastle Boogey Monster and our performance was so brutal, people create a victim from the bully of the school in the media. I think it’s great when we are hated, because it means we are feared, and we are feared because this will be our season.

That victory was a title paying momentum Juicer … we are the real deal. The players believe. We believe. This will be our season.

Ok, two more things before I go … The AOP Live Show in London was sold out in 72 hours. I am absolutely excited. I thought we would sell 10 tickets. We have music, stand -up, special guests, Red Hot Takes and many ways to enter into!
