Mikel Arteta seems to be further strengthening his team this summer with the addition of winger Noni Madueke from all over London in a £ 52 million deal of Rivals Chelsea
Arsenal closes a deal for Noni Madueke after an offer of £ 50 million plus.
Chelsea is now in advanced conversations with the Gunners with a deal for the wing player of England who will probably continue this weekend. Madueke, 23, has already agreed personal conditions on a switch to the Emirates and will sign a five -year -old deal with Arsenal.
Chelsea wanted more than £ 50 million while Arsenal tried to negotiate and it now seems that they are ready to compromise with a series of add-ons that take it up to £ 52 million. Arsenal’s push to sign Madueke has received a negative answer from fans and there has even been an online petition.
Chelsea is ready to discharge players such as Madueke after another big summer spending that they have seen Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro buy to strengthen their front line.

The arrival of Madueke in Arsenal would follow the heels of Christian Norgaard who joined the Gunners from Brentford. The midfielder of Denmark has signed a two -year deal with an option of 12 months after Arsenal had agreed a deal worth £ 12 million with the bees.
Norgaard is already looking up some ambitious goals and says that he will fulfill a “children’s dream” to walk to the national anthem of the Champions League. He admitted that it would have taken a “miracle” to play in the biggest stage of European football with Brentford and therefore he grabbed the opportunity to become a member of Arsenal.
“You can almost become emotional, because maybe it was a dream that I gave up a bit to come to the later phase in my career,” said Norgaard. “I just turned 31 and had signed a new deal with Brentford. Of course there is always a small chance that a miracle could happen to Brentford, but it was probably unrealistic to play Champions League with them.
“Now I get to hear the national anthem and I am part of a Champions League campaign. It is a children’s dream and something that I didn’t think it would be possible. So it’s something I am really happy with.” Norgaard admits that he grew up watching the Invincibles and says that he has developed his game into a more attacking role after scoring six times about all competitions last season.
He will wear the No.16 shirt and added: “It has been a bit developed over the years. I started as a more attacking player and now I am a bit more a regular midfielder. It is important for me that a team has a good defensive structure and hopefully I can contribute to that.
“Then come a season in which I have had a lot of goal involvement, it is something that I really hope that I can also take this season with me. I don’t know what the Gaffer plans are with me, but hopefully I can also have the freedom to participate in the offensive game.”
Arsenal Mikel Arteta added: “We are pleased to welcome Christian to Arsenal. He is an international player with a wealth of experience with the Premier League. He has proven leadership skills and a strong character that will be invaluable to our team.
“He is a strong midfielder with excellent tactical consciousness and versatility. He also has physical presence and intelligence that will give us extra depth and balance.
“Christian will bring a lot to the group, both on and outside the field, and we are pleased to work with him in this next chapter of his career. We welcome Christian and his family in Arsenal.”
