In this episode we look back at Saturday’s 2-1 win over Brighton which sent Arsenal back to the top of the Premier League. We talk about the feeling the game gave us, where a one-goal lead felt very precarious in the final stages, and we try to unravel the reasons why that is the case now. Then we get into the match itself, the dominant first half performance, Martin Odegaard’s goal and other scoring chances, before turning our attention to the second half, increasing the lead, denying a goal and David Raya’s incredible save to keep the score at 2-1. The first half ends with reflections on our position in the league, and the team that is not entirely convincing but still wins, and in part two we answer questions from listeners about the striker situation, Gabriel’s return, Mikel Arteta’s substitutions, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke’s playing time, and much more.
