Arman Tsarukyan Targets Paddy Pimblett, Provides Support to Justin Gaethje for UFC 324 Clash

Arman Tsarukyan has offered to help Justin Gaethje train for the Paddy Pimblett fight.

Next year, when the UFC debuts on Paramount+, Gaethje and Pimblett will headline the first numbered event of 2026: UFC 324, with the interim UFC lightweight belt up for grabs in the absence of Ilia Topuria. With almost two months to go before the fight, Tsarukyan has asked ‘The Highlight’ to let him know if he needs any help for the fight.

The number one ranked UFC lightweight contender is furious at not being given a title shot, but fifth-ranked ‘The Baddy’ is fighting for the interim title. After UFC CEO Dana White recently announced the UFC 324 fights, Pimblett fired shots at Tsarukyan and also trolled him on X.

In a recent interview with ESPN MMA criticizing Pimblett, ‘Ahalkalakets’ said:

“I hope Justin beats him up, kicks his ass and we forget about Paddy for the rest of our lives…I would just beat the shit out of him [Paddy’s] face on the ground with my elbows… I’m never going for the choke, I’m just going to elbow him all day, all night. Just make his face bleed… Justin, if you need any help, let me know. I’ll fly to you and help you… That nonsense, I hate it. He’s so great. When I see Paddy I’d like to punch him.”

What does Arman Tsarukyan want now?

Despite defending his number one spot on the UFC lightweight list by submitting Dan Hooker at UFC Qatar earlier this month, Arman Tsarukyan didn’t get the title shot he hoped and deserved. To make matters worse for Tsarukyan, Dana White has already announced that the winner of the Headlining UFC 324 will fight against Ilia Topuria to unify the ties in 2026.

‘Ahalkalakets’ now hopes that the promotion will at least give him a chance to challenge for the BMF title. In the same interview above, Tsarukyan said:

“It’s a business. At the end of the day I have the same goal. Everyone knows I will beat everyone and that’s just how it is.” [a matter of] time. I hope they at least give me the BMF title. What are they going to give me? Who should we fight in our division if it’s not Holloway?’

Max Holloway, the current UFC BMF queen, was sidelined due to a hand injury following his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 318. ‘Blessed’ hopes to return early next year and also fight on the UFC White House card.
