The University Football season 2025 is officially coming, which means that it is time to do some price predictions. And no honor is more debate than the Heisman trophy, with people who still talk about last season’s controversial race in between Colorado’s Travis Hunter and Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty.
Unlike in 2024, the chance to prefer the Quarterback position this time, with the top three favorites all Gunslingers. However, there is a certain quarterback that stands out above the rest for the sixth best chances at +1800 on concepts-that is Arizona StateSam Leavitt.
Here are three reasons why Leavitt can win the Heisman Trophy 2025.
Well completed success
Leavitt is the second highest recurring Quarterback in the Power Four at 88.5 in general, only behind Clemson’s Gift Klubnik. In fact, he is the only qualified quarterback in the FBS that earned an 80.0 pff figure in both hurry and pass last season.
Leavitt protects the ball as well as every quarterback in the country and a season ago only puts a turnover percentage of 1.1% to turnover percentage. He will have to continue that trend, because this year he will not have a star that Cam Skattebo is going back.
With that in mind, Leavitt expects to play an even greater role in the ground match of Arizona State this season. In 2024 he scored five hasty touchdowns on just 107 carrys – and both figures are ready to rise in 2025.
A dynamic receiver
By returning to Tempe, Leavitt also reverses with Jordyn TysonWho is perhaps one of the best broad recipients in the nation. Last season, Tyson placed a reception figure of 83.3 pff, which was ninth place among recipients with 100 or more goals.
Almost 1,100 from Leavitt’s passing yards came through Tyson, who recorded a 116.3 passer -rating when it was aimed. With more chemistry between the two, you can expect that Mark will be even higher this season.
Leavitt did not even have Tyson at his disposal in the Peach Bowl against Texas- And it turned out. He placed his lowest passing figure of the season (56.7), with an adapted completion rate of 61.0% and one turnover -worthy game. Yet he almost pulled off the upset, which speaks volumes about the individual talent and balance under pressure under pressure.

Promote success for teams
The only season of Leavitt in Tempe yielded unprecedented team results. As a starter he has a 11-2 record, because one of the two regular seasonal losses of the Sun Devils came in a match in which he did not play (Cincinnati).
Leavitt, in particular, really struck his only in the conference game last season and dominated BIG 12 defenses throughout the year. The Michigan State Transfer earned a 71.0-plus general pff quality in nine of its 10 conference matchups.
