Minister for Tribal Welfare Gummidi Sandhya Rani announced the arrangements at a review meeting with senior secretariat officials on Tuesday. The festival, titled Udbhav-2025, will be held from December 3 to 5 at KL University, Amaravati.
A total of 1,644 students from 405 EMRS institutions in 22 states will participate in the event, along with 278 officials, teachers, guardians and contingent managers. The festival aims to showcase India’s cultural and tribal diversity through music, literature, dance, theater arts and other creative competitions. Ms. Sandhya Rani said that 110 students from 28 EMRS schools in the state would showcase their talent on the national stage.
The minister said special committees have been formed to monitor the competitions, hospitality, protocol, prizes, transportation, accommodation, publicity and registration to ensure smooth conduct of the festival. She emphasized that the event would help bring out the creativity of tribal children, overcome fear and hesitation and promote national integration. The state would organize the festival in accordance with the directions of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, she added, unveiling the official poster and logo of Udbhav-2025.
