Antognoni S crushes $250,000 trotting final

Driven by co-owner Yannick Gingras, Antognoni S settled into the middle of the pack early, while Sir Pinocchio (Jason Bartlett), Asteroid (Colin Kelly) and Cecil Hanover (Brett Beckwith) showed speed. Sir Pinocchio was in front in a quarter of 27.3, and while Asteroid managed to find a seat in the pocket, Cecil Hanover could not find a gap and was forced to stay two wide.

Sir Pinocchio stayed ahead of the parked Cecil Hanover until halftime in 57.4, and the outer layer would fill behind Cecil Hanover with Antognoni S, Take All Comers (Todd McCarthy), Dribbling Bi (Daniel Dube) and Ultion Face S (Tyler Buter). There was little change through three quarters in 1:27.4, but Gingras fired Antognoni S three wide beyond that point to round fellow player Cecil Hanover.

After being tipped off, Antognoni S quickly trotted forward to join Sir Pinocchio as they moved away from the others. Antognoni S continued his attempt to work his way around Sir Pinocchio past the 1:56.2 mile mark, and from there it was all Antognoni S as he trotted away to win by ten lengths. Sir Pinocchio had to settle for second place, followed by Ari Ferrari J (Jim Marohn Jr.), Take All Comers and Asteroid.
