The young Victorian Reinsman Ryan Sanderson continues to collect career pile, with his first Melton Saturday Night (August16) Metropolitan Treble who emphasizes an already impressive harness racing season.
The 22-year-old, who is just shy of 500 career victories (currently 477), collaborated with three winners for the all-victory Emma Stewart and Clayton Tonkin Stable.
Sanderson, who made his racing debut in 2019 when his family was located in New South Wales, received the Tonkin-Stewart drives in the absence of regular stable Reinsman Mark Pitt, who campaigned on the exciting two-year-old ride of his wife Lisa, the highlights in Queensland.
“It was definitely a sensation. I haven’t had a treble yet during a Saturday evening meeting in Melton, but it certainly helps if you control that good quality!” Said Sandon.
“I was lucky because Pitty went to Queensland, and the stable had quite a few runners who came back who had the first and second starts, so it was really a good timing for me.
“I haven’t driven much for the stable yet, but I sent one or two with a five -point lift when I had a claim. So I think you claim the possibility for junior that you can make the connection with stables that can come back to you later.
“Pitty will come back next weekend, but hopefully I might get a chance for a second and third stringers in the future.”
Sanderon then sent War Buddy (Art major) To the victory in the opening event, the Hertz Melton Pace, followed by Storms Collide (The storm in) In the Garrards Horse and Hound Pace. He closed the Treble with a dominant success of seven meters on board Fox Dan (Art major) in the hip bag Castlemaine tempo.

It is the newest achievement for Sanderson, who has achieved more than 100 victories in each of the last three seasons and has a career strip that damages its age and experience. Until now he has driven 76 winners this season with a strike rate of 19 percent.
Sanderson combines his freelance driving obligations with the armor races of the family and equestrian sports activities at Willowood Farms, Murchison.
Parents Shane and Naomi train a strong racing team together with Ryan and his sister Abby and offer pre-training, rehabilitation, agist and conditioning services, with facilities including a water walker, treadmill and walker.
“It is such a wonderful place. It was great to train our racing horses here, but it is clearly a great place for players, pre-trainers and rehabilitation,” said Sanderson.
“There are absolutely quiet weeks and busy weeks, but in general we have a good routine.
“I have a relatively quiet week ahead, a few journeys in Shepparton (Tuesday evening) and Bendigo (Wednesday evening).
“But Dad thinks that could racing dangerous on Wagga on Friday – so that’s definitely something to look forward to.”
