Topsham, Maine …. Kevin Switzer, JR, continued on Monday (August 4 )’s conversation of Topsham, while team star rated his carousal continued in the Fairground Oval, and followed the three-win version on Sunday with another hat trick on Monday.
Switzer actually scored three consecutive top lists on Monday, starting with the Chirico (2: 01.1- $ 2.60), who won a battle with three horses for the early lead and never looked back.
The victory was the first of the season for the eight -year -old son of So surreal That ownership is from Lonnie Lefebvre and one of the two training victories on the map was for Micelle Lefebvre.
“He is a nice horse that has had a lot of unfortunate racing this year,” remarked Switzer: “Everything was worked out for him today and he responded perfectly”.
Switzer immediately returned to the Topsham Fair winner circle after launching a determined first over the pipeline in a stern: 59.3 back with the David Sawyer ownership and trainer, Airspinder (1: 59.3- $ 3.60).
The victory was the third of the season and the 34th career bowed for the nine -year -old son of No spider zone.
“He is a good old horse,” said Switzer, “He likes to have his drivers sometimes changed and I haven’t driven him for a while. If you can deliver it to the miles at a certain moment, he will generally let you give something”.
The last encore of Switzer came with the Richard Allaby owned and trained, rough (2: 02.4- $ 13.00). Sitting behind the favorite of the post -time, happiest Manalive (Shawn Thayer), Switzer hit his load in the middle of the Trech before he pulled a half length of half a length at the thread.
