Annie Stoebe will be co-host of Meadowlands Live Simulcast Show

Annie Stoebe will be co-host of Meadowlands Live Simulcast Show

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – She is a trainer of trotters of the highest caliber and a businesswoman with her own clothing line.

But that’s not enough for Annie Stoebe, who will add “television co-host” to her resume this weekend when she sits alongside Dave Little on the Sam McKee Memorial Broadcast Set and offers her insights, opinions and selections on The Meadowlands’ live simulcast show this Friday (Nov. 28) and Saturday (Nov. 29).

The broadcast starts every evening at 5.45 pm and there is live racing. The post time for the first race is 6:20 PM

Stoebe says she’s been in touch with Meadowlands Chairman and CEO Jeff Gural and Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Jason Settlemoir, both of whom were excited for her to do the show.

“It was a bit of them and [Big M Winner’s Circle Host] Gary [DiLeo] We stepped in and we all talked about it and from there it just started to snowball,” Stoebe said.”[Co-hosting] is different, but I’m always up for something new, and I thought why not, this is a great opportunity.”

“We’re in the middle of having a different co-host every week than in the past when we had two people on set doing the majority of the shows,” Settlemoir said. “This format allows people from different walks of the industry to attend our show and share their perspectives.

“Journalists are great, and they’re the backbone of who we use to do the show with Dave. But finding the opinion of a trainer like Annie is something we think is something that our fanbase would find interesting, because we certainly do that.”

Stoebe, whose two stable stars are Diabolic Hill and Elista Hanover, doesn’t seem too intimidated by the fact that a majority of appearances require races to be handicapped.

“I’m going to make some extra money,” Stoebe said, laughing. “I’m going to study.”

In addition to horse training, Stoebe also has a clothing line that she sells, including tank tops, T-shirts and baseball caps.

“There are links on all my social media,” Stoebe said. “There’s also a Shopify store, which is where all those links take you.”

Diabolic Hill was one of the top two-year-old male trotters of 2025, winning half of his ten starts and earning just over half a million dollars. On November 15, in his final start of the season, the son of Muscle Hill-Crysti Dream won the $421,000 Valley Victory at The Big M, gaining revenge on Breeders Crown champion Spencer Hanover, who defeated ‘Diabolic’ in the Crown at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Does the trainer have Hambletonian dreams?

“I had dreams from the moment I saw him in the paddock,” said Stoebe. “But after the Valley Victory, we are definitely looking forward to next year.”

Diabolic Hill, Elista Hanover, a clothing line, and handicapping and commentary on two racing programs. All these matters will be discussed in detail this weekend. And Stoebe is ready for the challenge.

“I was asked and jumped at the opportunity,” Steobe said. “I can’t wait to co-host.”

By finishing 1-2, Loebs and Meisel became the final two qualifiers for the $10,000 Invitational Challenge, which will be held on Saturday, December 13.
