Anderson Silva questions possible changes to the Ali Act

UFC legend Anderson Silva has questioned the possible changes TKO and Dana White want to make to the Ali Act.

Anderson Silva has long been known as a truly iconic figure in the world of combat sports. In addition to what he was able to achieve in mixed martial arts, he has also had some great moments in the boxing world. At the age of 50, he managed to knock out Tyron Woodley and prove that he still has what it takes to compete at a solid level.

Recently, Anderson Silva had some nice things to say about his former boss Dana White. It certainly seems like they have a pretty good relationship these days, which is always nice to see, but there have definitely been some rough patches for the two over the years.

In one recent interviewHowever, Anderson Silva was asked about the possible changes being proposed for boxing’s much-praised Ali Act.

Anderson Silva’s views on possible changes to the Ali Act

“People need to respect the boxing community, that’s the point, that’s my only concern.”

“I don’t know. You know, if you’re making something to help the sport and help the athletes, fine. But if you’re trying to do something to control the whole thing, this is bad. This is very bad.”

‘The Spider’ is someone who will speak his mind when he wants to because he doesn’t really have much to lose at this point in his career.

The amendment to the Ali Act has already caused a lot of controversy, but as we look to the future, it doesn’t seem like there is too much to stop it. Anyway, we’ll let you know if and when there are any further developments.
