Ruben Amorim has confirmed that Altay Bayindir will start this weekend in Doel for Manchester United in Manchester City.
United signed Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp on Deadline Day, but the Belgian Shot Stopper will have to wait for his debut. Amorim will place his confidence in Bayindir, despite the non -striking versions of the Turkish international.
Bayindir was the error for the winner of Arsenal in Old Trafford during the opening weekend of the season, but Amorim is convinced that the 27-year-old can perform.
“Altay continues. It is another competition, another country, another training, another ball. So we will try to keep that and they will fight for the position, but for me in this game is clear, Altay will start.”
Altay Bayındır has made a mistake that, since the beginning of last season, leads on average every 430 minutes a goal, the worst percentage of every goalkeeper in the Premier League.

On Lammens, who made more saves last season than any other goalkeeper in Europe Top 10 League, Amorim said: “He is a goalkeeper with a lot of potential. I know that we are at a time where the goalkeeper really needs to be strong and have a lot of experience.
“We are also the moment we have to look at the present, but also with a focus on the future – so it’s a bit of both. He is a man with a great potential that is still an option [for us] To play, and he will be ready. ‘
