The American Express 2026 continues with the second round on Friday, January 23 in La Quinta, California. Full American Express start times for Friday’s second round can be found at the bottom of this post.
Recommended start time for round 2
Scottie Scheffler isn’t the only star player making his own PGA Tour debut this week, as does Ludvig Aberg.
After a winless 2024 season, Aberg claimed his second career Tour victory last year at the 2025 Genesis Invitational. The 26-year-old Swedish pro achieved five more top-10 finishes in 2025 and finished in 21st place in the final FedEx Cup standings. He followed it up by playing on his second winning European Ryder Cup team.
Now Aberg is back on the PGA Tour with American Express, where he hopes to have his best season yet.
Aberg will tee off with Harris English for Round 2 on Friday at 1:31 PM ET. They will play their round on the Nicklaus Tournament Course.
