Nallo became the first Liverpool player to be sent off in both of his first two games for the club when he was dismissed in the Carabao Cup defeat to Palace.
It means the 18-year-old has only been on the pitch for a total of 16 minutes for the senior side, having also received a red card in the Champions League defeat to PSV Eindhoven in January.
However, he has maintained his focus after that brutal blow and led Liverpool’s hopefuls to a 4-2 win over Middlesbrough three days after his Anfield dismissal.
Now Nallo has been named in the England Under-20 squad for the upcoming break, underlining the appreciation he enjoys at international level.
He only turns 19 four days after the friendly against Japan Under-20s on November 14 and is one of the youngest players in Ben Futcher’s squad.
That friendly will take place at Doncaster’s Eco-Power Stadium, while the U20s will also attend a training camp as they continue to build together.
Brentford’s Benjamin Arthur and Chelsea’s Harrison Murray-Campbell are Futcher’s other specialist centre-backs in the squad.
Who else has been called up for service in England?

Although there were no Liverpool players in the England senior or U21 squad, both Trey Nyoni And Ngumoha River retained their place in the U19 group.
Will Antwi’s team will play Lithuania (November 12), Latvia (November 15) and Scotland (November 18) in three qualifying matches for the European Under-19 Championship, with all three matches being played in Lithuania.
After these three group matches, the top two teams will advance to the next qualifying stage, which will be held in March.
Nyoni has been a regular with the U19s since November 2024 and has also made two appearances for the U20s, but Ngumoha is a newer signing who moved from the U18s in September.
Jayden Danns was in the England Under-20 squad during the break in September but has now been sidelined for months after a serious hamstring injury.
