In reply, Puducherry never threatened the chase and were bowled out for 235 in 41.4 overs, losing the match by 133 runs. Jashwanth Shreeram top-scored with a 74-ball 60, while Aman contributed 28 off 24 balls before being run out by Roy.
The 29-year-old made his List A debut for Mumbai in 2021 before transferring to Puducherry. He has IPL experience with Kolkata Knight Riders (2022) and Delhi Capitals (2023) and was recently picked up by Chennai Super Kings for INR 40 lakh in the IPL 2026 auction.
