19-year-old singer from Sydney goes from audience member to 2025 winner in Seven Talent Quest.
Alyssa Delpopolo, 19, won The voice 2025.
The Sydney singer was in the audience when coaches Kate Miller-Heidke and Ronan Keating encouraged her to audition. She initially joined Team Ronan, but switched teams after the Battles round.
“It doesn’t feel real at all,” she said.
Kate Miller-Heidke added: “Honestly, I can’t believe it because of the incredible amount of talent on this stage. But I can believe it. Australia loves you as much as I do, and I’m so excited.”
She will win a cash prize of $100,000, plus a comprehensive recording development package including production, recording, mixing, mastering and access to ANR and label services.
It took two hours to determine who was the best, starting from 3.30 minutes of singing each.
During the grand finale, each artist sang with their respective coach:
Cle & Ronan Keating (“Knew You Waited for Me”)
Cassie & Mel C (“Bitterseet Symphony”)
Alyssa and Kate Miller-Heidke (“Lose You to Love Me”)
Bella & Richard (“Help”)
Solo numbers were:
Alyssa: “It’s all coming back to me now”
Bella: “Isn’t that anyone?”
Cle: “What about us?”
Cassie: “Teenage dirtbag”
Filming wrapped a few months ago, but multiple endings were shot to reflect the winner as determined by live voting.
Presented by Sonia Kruger, this season attracted good numbers for the Blind Auditions, with welcome chemistry between the four coaches, who will all return next year.
Produced by ITV Studios Australia, casting for a 2026 season is now open.
