The company, the maker of Officer’s Choice Whiskey, had posted a profit from RS 11.19 Crore a year ago in the quarter of April-June, according to a regulatory request from Allied blenders and distillers (ABD).
Turnover from the activities increased to RS 1,776.37 Crore in the quarter of June of RS 1,766.94 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The total costs of ABD were 1,664.78 crore, a decrease of 1.65 percent in the quarter of June.
The total income of ABD, including other income, was 1,783.45 crore.
In response to the results, ABD director Alok Gupta said that this is the fourth consecutive quarter of strong performance after the IPO and mention of the company. “As we continue, our strategic focus positions us strongly to maintain growth and consistently improve customer value,” he said company in India, in terms of annual sales volumes.
Shares of Allied Blenders and Distillers Ltd settled on RS 487.25 on BSE on Tuesday, an increase of 2.07 percent compared to the previous closure.
