Lerone Murphy may have mentioned his shot.
In the immediate aftermath of his spectacular rotating rugleboog knockout by Aaron Pico in the UFC 319 co-headliner, Murphy made his business for a championship championship.
“This sport is all about moments, and I just made one,” said Murphy in his interview after the fight. “I needed something like that. I am the next one in line. Let’s go [Alexander] Volkanovski. “
Murphy’s UFC -winning streak is now at nine, with other remarkable victories against people like Josh Emmett, then Ige and Edson Barboza. ‘De Iceman’ was not in almost four years of fighting, so his last version was especially important.

It also seems that Volkanovski has taken note of the work of Murphy and the subsequent callout.
See you in December [Lerone

Volkanovski regained the 145-pound Riem with a unanimous decision triumph on Diego Lopes on UFC 314 last April. His initial championship government included five successful title defenses before he turned the belt to Ilia Topuria in a knockout loss at UFC 298.
