UFC Vederweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski is perhaps one of the best to compete in mixed martial arts on £ 145. The now dual champion in his weight class recently sat down with Josh Mansour on unscripted For a raw and unfiltered chat and spoke about a potential superfight on the road.
“Probably conor, man (I would choose to fight), many people sit there and are:” Oh yes, Conor is a boring answer “but he was in the featherweight division, that era when he was just an absolute superstar,” Volkanovski.
“The position where you could use yourself to only fight that guy. If you are talking about building your platform, if we are talking about money and all that … the platform you have on, you have to use it and that is a quick way to notice you.
“He was a good hunter, he was a great hunter. He was a different hunter than his accuracy, he was actually a bit for his time, he was really good, I don’t think people give him the honor … He had great timing, great set -ups, good understanding of what works and what works for him, and yes, he was sharp.
“Much of that has disappeared now, he will probably be fairly sharp, but he will never be the same Conor McGregor,” people went on.
Volkanovski defeated Diego Lopes earlier this year on UFC 314 to claim the empty time, his second belt under the UFC banner.
McGregor is a former dichotomy champion, which holds belts in both featherweight and lightweight.
