The Newcastle Alexander Isak agent has opened himself about the future of the striker in the midst of interest from Liverpool.
The Premier League champions are ready to break the British transfer record to sign Isak, despite the fact that he already spends £ 116 million to Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
The 25-year-old will reportedly cost £ 125 million and the Reds will move if they receive an encouragement from Newcastle.
However, the Magpies have made it clear that he is not for sale – so Liverpool is moving their focus to Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike in a potential £ 82 million movement.
The agent of ISAK has now spoken about the future of the player in an interview with Saudi -Arab media – where the star also attracts interest from clubs in the Gulf state.
“We are indeed studying and analyzing all the options, and we can close the next step for the player,” Gonzalo Gaitan told Saudi -Krant Arriyadiyah.

Isak was omitted from the 4-0 defeat of Newcastle for the season against Celtic, where manager Eddie Howe later admitted that the decision was due to continuous speculation about the future of the striker.
Howe said speaking after the friendly game: ‘I chose to send him home.
‘The last thing Alex wants if he doesn’t play is in the stand and under that investigation, if he didn’t play today, we agreed that he should not be here.
“It was my decision. He traveled with us back to Glasgow, but I decided to send him home because of the speculation around him. Both [Joelinton and Isak] His fit but not ready to play. Alex has trained and is fine, but we did not want to take the risk with him.
“Yes, I had conversations with him, but that is not abnormal,” he added. ‘I respect the career of a player and how short it is. Alex has been really good, he is very well trained and I realize that there will be noise around him.
‘We have some of those players who are irreplaceable. Your top players are so hard to find, so hard to recruit and so hard to develop. So if you have them, you have to cherish them. Of course we are desperate to keep him as part of our team.
‘I think it is difficult for me to ever give 100 percent clarity to every player, I would never do that.

‘The only thing I can say is that Alex is happy with Newcastle, he loves the players, the staff, the team.

Isak has settled as one of the best strikers of the Premier League since he came to Real Sociedad in 2022.
He scored 62 goals in 109 performances for Newcastle in all competitions – including one in the final of the Carabao Cup final on Liverpool last season.
