Alex Pereira is not interested in the fight against Khamzat Chimaev.
Almost as soon as the light-heavyweight title was again wrapped around Pereira’s medium during UFC 320, ‘Borz’ went to the social media and the Brazilian powerhouse called for a collision between two world champions.
Unfortunately for Chimaev, Pereira has larger fish for baking.
“Thanks for the congratulations, but I want a super fight,” said Pereira during his Interview after the fight When he was asked about Chimaev’s message. “Like I said, I want to fight in the heavyweight. So only thank you for the congratulations.”
Chimaev has since then responded to the dismissal of PereiraWhat suggests that if ‘Patan’ wants a fight in the heavyweight, he would like to give him one. But in all likelihood Pereira has only one heavyweight on his head, and that is Tom Aspinall.
