The crucial qualifying match in the second round will be held in Ken Rosewall Arena from 13-14 September, the first home Davis Cup-equal game of Australia in more than three years.
Australia, currently ranked no. 2 in the world, hunts for a fourth consecutive performance at the Davis Cup Final 8, which takes place in Bologna, Italy in November.
The Minaur, who will notify his 13one Davis Cup -Nomination for Australia, won his 10one Career Singles Title in Washington last month before reaching the quarterfinals of the ATP 1000 in Toronto.
Twenty -six -year -old Paxyrin achieved a career -high ranking of World No.19 last week and became the seventh Australian man behind Pat Rafter, Lleyton Hewitt, Mark Philippoussis, Nick Kyrgios, Bernard Tomic and the Minaur to achieve this performance.
Thompson will stand in line for his 13one Davis Cup nomination while Ebden marks his 15one Nomination for Australia.
“Alex de Minaur clearly likes to keep in Australia, and more playing on Ken Rosewall Arena. He feels like it’s his home field,” Culture AMP Australian Davis Cup Captain Leyton Hewitt said.
“In the past he played a number of major games at this court, in the Sydney International, the Davis Cup and the United Cup. He will really look forward to coming back there.
“Alex is a top 10 player and has had a fantastic season, which means that he is contrary to all the major tournaments.
“Alexei Pofyrin has again arrived at the Canadian Open in Toronto, especially in the title defender. Hopefully he will get some confidence during the American Swing, he will be a big player for us in the Davis Cup -similar play.
“Jordan Thompson had a few injuries this year, but he has been very solid every time he came to the field. He had a good run in Wimbledon, in singles and Doubles and clear that he played with Matty Ebden in the Doubles, they have played a number of Big Davis Cup for us in the past.”

Australia leads Belgium 4-3 in the head-to-head series, including a 3-0 win in Hamburg during the group stage in 2022.
“We have played a number of Big Davis Cup tires against Belgium. They play very well, they play with great pride, every time they play for their country, so we certainly do not take anything for granted,” Hewitt added.
“We have had a pretty good run in the Davis Cup for the last three or four years. We have the feeling that we have some unfinished things, and this is a different springboard and another opportunity for us to control ourselves.
“We will definitely do everything we can to get the result that we feel that we deserve and it is really fun to play on a home floor.”
The official draw for the draw takes place on Friday 12 September.
