Fans of Manchester United unveiled their true feelings for Alejandro Garnacho on Saturday.
Former hero
The winger broke through at United in 2022 after scoring two goals in the FA Youth Cup final.
He impressed Erik ten Hag in his debut season in the first team in 2022/2023.
Garnacho was also a favorite with fans in 2023-2024 and scored the opening goal in the FA Cup Final Victory on Manchester City.
The Argentinian struggled last season and fell out with Ruben Amorim after comments he made after the Europa League final. As a result, the head coach told him that he had no future at the club.
Garnacho alienated fans, not only with his poor posture, but also on his insistence to move alone to the Premier League rival Chelsea this summer when he had options abroad such as Bayern Munich.
Icy reception
Garnacho did not come on the field against United in Old Trafford, but he still received a cold reception from the United Fanbase.
The Red Devils usually welcome former players and managers back with open arms, but Garnachos was welcome a rather different tone.

The article states that “the same ruthless accusation was aimed at Carlos Tevez when he made the switch from United to their Cross-City Rivals, Manchester City, in 2009, was unleashed on Garnacho.”
“The fans were with full voice and singing:” Who is that t *** of Argentina? Who is that money that is W ****? “
The singing continued: “Garnacho is his name and he has no brain, and he will no longer win trophies!”
United is currently not planned to get Garnacho on the field again until April when the Red Devils travel to Stamford Bridge towards the end of the season.
