Frustrations within the Newcastle United Fanbase reach their peak, and club legend Alan Shearer has publicly joined the annoyance of the Geordie Nation.
Eddie Howe has done an incredible work to guide us back to Champions League and to end our long -term trophy. Little has been done to help the Gaffer in recent seasons to strengthen our position.
Three windows have passed without major income and although Anthony Elanga has signed this summer, a general lack of action of the suits of the Alexander Isak field has led the club to be investigating his options “this summer.
Shearer gave his opinion about what Howe’s next steps should be now that his talisman has essentially placed in the shop window and has shared his disappointment about the club’s trade.
Eddie Howe has to do everything he can to convince Alexander Isak to stay in Newcastle for at least a year, says Alan Shearer.
Shearer, who showed famous loyalty and fulfilled his dream of playing for his hometown club when he rejected Manchester United’s progress in 1996, claimed that no one is greater than Newcastle United.
However speak to Betfair, Shearer believes that the club’s communication was poor, because the recent absence of Isak on our trip to Asia could be better treated:
“If they thought people would not see that (Isak who did not drive to Singapore) … it was disappointing. They should have tell the truth immediately. I understand that it is a very difficult situation for them, but it is what it is.
“Eddie Howe has to use all his convincing forces to do what he can do and try to let him stay at least another year. If that cannot happen, then it is what it is. You have to get the very best deal for the football club and if someone is willing to pay to pay north of £ 150 million, and if he really does not want his way.
“Isak has been brilliant for Newcastle, helped us to realize our dream to win a trophy and if there is no way that he can be persuaded to stay in Newcastle, then they must get the best possible deal and if someone is willing to pay what they want, you have to thank and build for the future.
“There is no person bigger than the football club.”
If Isak wants to go and our requirements of the reimbursement are met, do we have to let him leave? That is the ultimate question – but it is important to remember that we ultimately have the most control in the situation.
The head of the Swede is certainly turned. Whether it is about his own ambitions, wage requirements, our lack of progress outside the field and a team building, or a combination of the three, his head has been played.
A bad egg spoils the batch as the saying reads, when he asks to leave and we deny him, we risk the 25-year-old kick-off or not playing. Moreover, it would see the potential reimbursement of £ 150 million window lower per window if he approaches the expiry of his contract.
But the damage is now irreversible, if he is convinced to stay and the attacker agrees with a new deal after conversations with Howe and the situation has been stored, there will be a stench hanging over the head of Isak about his consideration to leave.
He would certainly get forgiveness much faster if he started the season well, and continues to help us build on a historical campaign of 2024/25 in our return to the Champions League.
