New local drama series Gracie sweetheart playing With Morgana O’Reilly in the lead role (The White Lotus, Buren) will premiere on Paramount+premiere in August.
The Curio Photos (The narrow road to the deep north, the artistic dodger) Drama investigates the deep ties of female friendship, the spooky power of memory and a small town taken by the unknown.
When Joni was fourteen, her best friend Gracie Darling disappeared during a seance. Twenty -seven years later, local teenagers still get their stairs’Gracie sweetheart playing‘A creepy game named after the girl who had disappeared. But when another young girl disappears under creepy comparable circumstances, Joni (O’Rilly) is forced to confront her past and the secrets that never were buried.
The Six Part Series is set in a city where everyone knows each other, secrets are held firmly and otherwise is impossible to hide. Filming took place in New South Wales, from the Hawkesbury River region to the south coast.
Made and written by Miranda Nation (Pay attention) and directed by Jonathan Brough (Rosehaven, the end), The cast also includes lady Harriet Walter (Follow -up, Ted Lasso) if Pattie and Rudi Dharlingam (Wakefield, the Lazarus project) as Jay.
His Celia Pacquola (Love Me, Rosehaven) as Ruth, Annie Maynard (Colin Van Accounts, Pubertty Blues) As Anita and Spielman (The code, new golden mountain) if Peter and Anne Tenney (The Castle, A national practice) As Moira.
Playing Gracie Darling is executive produced by producers Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner for Curio Pictures, Sophia Mogford for Paramount+and series -maker Miranda Nation. Laura Nagy agrees as an associated producer, with extra scripts from Anya Beyersdorf (fake).
