Airdate: Adelaide Carols by Candlelight 2025 | Television tonight

A crowd of 20,000 people is expected at Elder Park / Tarntanya Wama for the 81st St John Ambulance Carols by candlelight in Adelaide this Saturday.

This year’s performers include Leo Sayer, Marina Prior, Hugh Sheridan, Emma Memma and her friend BB Butterfly, Amber Lawrence, James Johnston, Jai Laga’aia, Paulini, Taylor Henderson, Marshall Hamburger, Patrizio Buanne, Bonnie Anderson and winner of The Voice Australia 2025, Alyssa Delpopolo.

They will be joined by Adelaide ensembles including Gospo Collective, Dancers by Donna, Adelaide Philharmonia Chorus, Young Adelaide Voices and the Adelaide Concert Orchestra, totaling more than 200 artists.

Maree Geraghty from St John Ambulance said: “Now that our full line-up has been confirmed, we are ready to deliver the most unforgettable Carols yet. This event brings South Australians together to celebrate while supporting the vital work St John does across the state.”

Pre-entertainment starts from 3pm and members of the public are encouraged to get to Elder Park early to get a spot and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Families can enjoy MIX102.3’s inflatable football pitch, browse craft stalls packed with handmade treasures and locally made products, and sample a delicious range of food from vendors. Christmas items will also be available, including Carols candles in support of St John – with 10,000 expected to be sold, lighting Elder Park in a sea of ​​light.

The Experience Adelaide Community Concert starts at 5pm, followed by the main Carols concert at 8:30pm, culminating in a spectacular fireworks finale.

As always, the event raises vital funds for St John Ambulance South Australia, supporting first responders, community training and lifesaving programs across the state.
