The comments came after the Israeli newspaper Haaretz quoted sources and said that Hamas had in principle agreed to release all Israeli hostages who, in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops under the plan of Trump.

Trump also said on Friday that conversations about the conflict with countries in the middle were intense and would continue as long as required.

Health authorities report 74 killed if facilities are closed
In the Gaza Strip meanwhile the fighting continued.
The Israeli army said his plane struck 120 goals over the strip in the past day while troops deeper in Gaza City.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 74 people have been killed in the enclave for the past 24 hours.
In a message on social media platform X, the Arabic spokesperson for the Israeli army repeated calls for residents of Gaza City to leave.
The World Food Program of the United Nations estimates that 350,000-400,000 Palestinians have been abandoned since Israel started his extensive ground offensive in Gaza City a few weeks ago, but hundreds of thousands remain.
