Gelda Waterboer is an early children’s trainer and Namibian Native lives in Otjiwarongo, Africa. In a video that is shared on her Tiktokpage page, Waterboer is seen in front of her classroom that lead children in a remixed children’s song. The song emphasized the right of an individual to physical autonomy. As she points to her anatomy, the teacher emphasized areas that were considered private and led the children in the song.
“These are my private parts, private parts, private parts and nobody should touch them, nobody should press them. And if you touch my private components, my private components, my private components, I will tell my mother, I will tell my father, I will tell my teacher,” Song Waterboer and her students.
Many observers support the decision of Waterboers to strengthen personal safety.
Tiktok -user @Lauren said: “This is actually the level of seriousness needed.”

Waterboer says she has seen negative feedback from her post, but she doesn’t care. She encouraged her followers to ignore it Making her effortsBecause she acknowledges that social media has become a place where all content is considered good content. However, her goal is to spread consciousness. She wants to encourage others to have these conversations with the young and vulnerable children in their environment.
“I see all of you trying to defend me in the commentary? You don’t have to do that. It is not going well. I don’t even feel offended. I understood that the people of this world never really take them seriously. Everything is satisfied with them. Nothing is important as long as the message is spread, a victory is a victory.”
Africa’s Enca network reported on the rates From sexual violence against children. According to the report, 40% of all sexual offenses are against children. While some attempt to fire and make jokes about the efforts of Waterboers, she does her part to turn the tide.
