Hello everyone, I finally got a web design performance by chance. I am an SMB owner, I designed my own site on WordPress and my site was apparently enough to convince someone I met during a business meeting that I could design a new site for them. I discovered with them today, and it is all fairly simple and I was estimated for a generic 5-6 pages site, but it appears that they wanted a site of 44 pages instead. There are the standard things such as destination page, testimonial page, about us and a contact page, but then they also wanted 40 different product listings for people to be able to set up a consultation with them. Fortunately it is not e-commerce, only a lot of info pages, but I am not sure what a reasonable price is for so many product pages? Every product has the same skeleton, but they want different text, images and embedded YouTube videos with each. My estimate at the moment is $ 25k, but I feel that that is too high a price compared to the market? It is still many pages that each need their own separate information, a mega menu to navigate all products, plus implementing a contact form, testimony feed, and they also asked for a LinkedIn feed. They are an SMB with established customers who act as the intermediaries that connect different companies with suppliers of industrial quality equipment. Thoughts?
