AdTech Delhi 2016: Highlights and Photos from 2 Days

This month of March I was eagerly looking forward to AdTech Delhi 2016 because it is one of the most beautiful events in India. It was March 3 and 4 and I was a media partner for AdTech. It was a great pleasure to be at AdTech and meet some of my favorite customers around the world.

The opening day of the promotion was packed digital marketing event saw keynote speakers Michael, Global Head of Integrated Marketing NESCAFÉ, Nestlé and Alexander Schlaubitz, VP Global Marketing, Lufthansa engage the audience with their powerful sessions on digital and marketing techniques. Besides the keynote speakers, the event also featured other speakers from Fork Media, And Beyond, AdzMedia, Criteo, Tune, Thinktech, MagicBricks, Taboola, Phillips, Kotak Mahindra, Myntra to name a few.

The first day witnessed a footfall of over 4,000, including exhibitors, marketers and industry leaders, among others. Continue to the panel discussionsin-depth presentations and practical workshops, there was a first-ever Roast in the history of ad:tech, followed by a Big Networking Bash to end the day on an exciting and lively note.

Alexander Schlaubitz, VP, Global Marketing, Lufthansa, shared his ability to evaluate key business issues at an abstract level. Promoting ideas that are unexpected and willing to challenge conventional wisdom and explore new opportunities. He said: “Innovation starts with empathy” and continued: “There are three types of people in airports: excited, nervous and sad. Empathy for all three is our goal and 90% of the passenger experience is homogenized across all airlines today.”

Michael ChrismentGlobal Head of Integrated Marketing NESCAFÉ, Nestlé shared his in-depth knowledge of the various marketing techniques and trends, as well as his productive coaching of Category teams to realize the revenue and idea-generating potential of the Digital Space. He said, “Plan your budget wisely!” and continues: “We make people’s lives possible and change with a cup of coffee!”. Michael Chrisment also announced their new Nescafe app, saying “A lot can happen over a cup of coffee! It’s always nice to wake up to the NESCAFE wake-up app”.


Other topics covered included: Is the digital age industry ready to rethink the way media is measured Native Content Marketing – a success story for NDTV; Is it Mad Men or Mad Data: how can brands benefit from data management platforms?; Using technology to create ‘IN THE MOMENT’ marketing; App Marketing in India: Seizing Opportunities and Overcoming Challenges; Influencer Marketing – The New Rules of Engagement – ​​Launching the Fork Influencer Marketing Platform.

The 6e edition witnessed a footfall of over 7000 registrations, including exhibitors, marketers and industry leaders, among others.

Presenting his keynote on reinventing beauty with the consumer journey in the digital age at ad:tech, Christophe Eymery, Head of Digital and Media at L’Oréal Australia and NZ, said: “The consumer journey is now a crucial mapping in the digital world, which is all about improving the experience for the user. This resonates with the way brands need to map out how they want their consumers to move through it, providing the required sets at every turn. Loreal is also coming up with a mobile application that allows women to enhance their beauty.

Other topics covered included: Looking Beyond Vanity Metrics – Pitfalls of not looking at actionable metrics in a cross-channel and cross-device world, Measuring the true value of content, Ad Fraud – Is this the dark side of digital media, Integrating technology for multi-channel, cross-device attribution, The Evolution of Mobile: Is M-commerce the Future of E-commerce and some others.

I also partied hard vCommission team and it is a great honor to be part of it vCommission party. Parul and Tarang are really humble people I met in the digital space.
