In a video posted on XThe California Democrat said Trump’s “long and growing” list of alleged enemies is no secret, warning that even Republicans may not be protected from the president’s retaliation.
“But we won’t be intimidated,” Schiff said.
“We will not be deterred. We will do our job and continue to fight against these attempts at retaliation,” he added.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (DN.Y.) accused Trump and his administration of turning the Justice Department into “personal attack dogs against their political enemies” after James was indicted on fraud charges in Virginia.
Schumer called the move “outrageous” and described it as Trump’s latest attempt to use the department to target political rivals.
On Friday, Rep. said Don Bacon (R-Neb.) criticized President Trump for calling for charges against James, Comey and Schiff.
“I think it was a mistake, like I said,” Bacon said told CNN’s Pamela Brown.
‘I don’t think it’s right for him to make these demands for charges. I think, again, it’s inappropriate. Presidents don’t normally do this. And as far as I’m concerned, I think he’s foolish.’
